    Checking Back IN: I started this past Sunday 6/16 at 4pm after watching this video. I took notes and typed up the 9 Things. I read it every day. So today (Wednesday) at 4pm will be 3 days. I'm already feeling better. Less joint pain, soreness and stiffness; mood has improved; more energy; and acid reflux (which was bad!) is gone. Less urination during the night. A bit of a High Blood Pressure issue has returned to normal range (this morning's reading was 116/73). I've lost exactly 3.0 pounds since I weighed Monday morning (213.2 to 210.2). To be sure, I'm being CRAZY strict - virtually NO sugar or carbs (grams of sugar below 2 per day; carbs below 20 per day). Using My Fitness Pal to track every single thing I put in my mouth (that's how I know). Drinking a lot of water. I can't wait for the end of 14 days to see how I'm doing. Starting some indoor cycling today. Next Monday morning, I will start measuring my blood glucose (I have an excellent home measuring blood glucose kit). [Going to utilize the old saying: "What is measured, improves!"] I will use this 2 weeks as a foundation for a three month plan. I am going to have my A1c checked in very early October. Hope to be below 5.6, and below 180 pounds and in size 36 pants.

      Thanks for sharing! Keep us posted. The suggestion for the long run is to cut out unhealthy carbs, but adding complex carbs into your diet. Watch Dr Fung’s video on the importance of eating healthy carbs for our body. It’s in his video on fasting.

    I am losing weight without dieting, just because my nervous system is getting more and more relaxed. I'm dealing with anxiety and mental health issues all my life (I'm 43 years old now) and since I'm being coached with trauma sensitivity and everything is about relaxing my nervous system, my life is slowly changing for the better. I'm getting out of surviving mode, so my digestion system can finally get to work properly again. And "miraculously" I'm losing weight 😊. So much has changed since there is more knowledge about the vagus nerve and the polyvagal theory. This should get more attention with health care professionals. So thank you for this video ❤❤❤

    Do physicians not understand the link between woman’s superhuman social/cultural expectations and disease or do they simply not want to see it because they, like a lot of societal power wielders and leaders, have benefited from the inequality. Why is it that woman predominantly raise children; “man” (irony intended) religious and charitable organisations with unpaid labour; care for the aged, infirm, or sick in family/community, often working longer hours for less pay? Why is it that sick children and husbands tend to get cared for by women but when wives are sick we largely care for ourselves which involves picking ourselves up as soon as we can and soldiering on?

      That is such a great question! I’ve never sprouted millet but I do the same process with lentils all the time. Here’s what I found though about sprouting mullet. “Millet that has had the hull removed does not sprout well, because the germ is usually removed with the hull. Sprout only raw millet, not toasted or roasted.” So if you try it, let us know how it went!

    I have secret hurt earliest expression most likely bed wetting. Later on lust. My own healthy instinct to love and reproduce trauma bound. So when this healthy energy shows up im ashamed and horny or i can choose to be rageful. A river of tears. Im looking this as an energy block. Whenever i attempt to share this vunerability there is rejection. I heard the most secret wounds are general to all. I know gramma had this it ran in my family. there were no safe others i could go to for nuturing care. That little boy tried to run away at 3years old. Smart fucking boy i love you

    I had an experience with rage. Out of control rage came over me doing 'the presence process top of my lungs, chopped wood till I dropped to the ground ,rolling around growling like a wild animal then it subsided. Calm peaceful present. Wtf just happened. Next day on my bike ride effortlessly riding in rocks and steep hills. Where before I had to walk. WTF? A wild burro wandered into camp and spent the nite. I could only laugh out loud. " That didn't bother you" he's like "nope not at all I actually liked it". Go figure. They still show up from time to time . Last nite even. Brother

    that is so interesting that he mentioned Jordan Peterson. Didn't his own daughter (Peterson's) suffer from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis? she developed some sort of carnivore diet to manage it in the adulthood.

      Yeah she did and I do think that dietary experimentation is one way to combat this illness but I think the reason she got better was honestly because her life got way the fuck less stressful when her dad got famous and their family made an insane amount of money. She now gets to live next a whole foods and have her refrigerator stocked full of whatever thing she wants. I also think that when you're sick, weak, and sensitive, your body is less resilient to literally everything, that includes inflammatory foods. I don't think the illness is CAUSED by a bad diet but I think when you have the illness, your diet plays a huge role in the process of the illness.
